Fill out this notary application and return it to: Judge of Probate, Post Office Box 459, Bay
Minette, AL 36507, for processing. You must be a resident of Baldwin County to be considered
for an appointment to the office of Notary Public and to receive your commission. The application
and/or bond and filing fee may be dropped off at either satellite office. It will be forwarded to the
Bay Minette office for processing.
When we receive and process your application, we will send you a letter of appointment. With your
appointment letter in hand, call on your insurance company to purchase at minimum a $10,000
Notary Bond. When we receive your bond and $25.00 recording fee, your notary commission will
be issued, and your notary certificate will be mailed to you.
