Prior to the hearing on the Petition, you are directed to personally conduct an investigation and file a report in accordance with Probate Code section 1513. Prior to the hearing on the Petition, you are further directed to: a. Review the allegations of the Petition as to why the appointment of a guardian is required. b. Maintain the confidentiality of the report as required by Probate Code section 1513(d). c. At least 5 days before the hearing, report your findings in writing to the court and mail a copy of the report to all the persons who have been served in the proceedings or their attorneys.
