PURPOSE OF STATUS CONFERENCE: During Status Conferences a Judicial Officer will review your case (Family Code section 2450). Status Conferences to review case progress are scheduled for 6 months, 12 months and 18 months after filing. RULES FOR THE STATUS CONFERENCE: Pursuant to the Court's Local Rule #30.13, parties may agree to drop the 6mo and/or 12mo Status Conference. Parties may also agree to postpone a Status Conference. Appearance for the 18mo Status Conference is mandatory if a final judgment has not been filed with the Court. Agreements to drop or postpone can be submitted up to 5 court days before the status conference. Additional steps must be taken to finish your case.
