Financial Code Sections 765.5 and 6850.5 require a bank, trust company, or savings association to send the court having jurisdiction over a
probate guardianship or conservatorship a copy of the documents that evidence a guardian’s or conservator’s (1) opening of an account for
the guardianship or conservatorship estate, or (2) changing the name of an existing account to reflect the guardianship or conservatorship.
