IT IS HEREBY AGREED between the undersigned that all proceedings, including trial and contempt in this matter,
relating to the sale or transfer of certain real property as designated by the parties or the Court, may be heard by
EDWARD F. MILLS, Family Court Settlement Officer of the Santa Clara County Superior Court, a member of the
bar of this state, in accordance with Rule 244, California Rules of Court, and further in accordance with the
appointment of said Family Court Settlement Officer by the Supervising Judge of the Family Law Division of the
Superior Court as temporary judge made under the authority of Article 6, Section 21 of said Constitution. Said
appointment shall encompass all real estate issues, including the immediate listing and sale of the family home. The
parties specifically stipulate and appoint Edward F. Mills as Temporary Judge for this purpose, and he shall retain
jurisdiction, including ex-parte availability, over the terms and conditions of the listing agreement and sale,
including appraisal, inspections, access, maintenance, and improvements for sale. Both parties shall cooperate with
the process. Further, it is agreed and stipulated that said temporary judge may hear all other proceedings not
specifically objected to in advance by either party.
It is understood that said EDWARD F. MILLS has previously been appointed to act as a temporary judge as to all
matters assigned to him by a Judge of this Court for hearing and that he has taken the necessary oath of office as to
all matters so assigned.
