You may seek modification or termination of the maintenance award by filing a Motion to Modify or Terminate Maintenance if there has been a “substantial and continuing” change in circumstances (for example, one of the parties has received a significant pay raise or pay cut), so that the existing maintenance obligation is unfair. Fill in the amount of the existing maintenance award. If you are seeking a modification of the maintenance award because of a change in circumstances, describe that change in circumstances fully and explain why the existing maintenance obligation is unfair.
