A c onservator is required because the m inor is missing, detained, or unable to return to the United States. The c ourt has considered any expressed wishes of the m inor concerning the selection of the c onservator. The c ourt has considered the powers and duties of the c onservator, the scope of the c onservatorship, and the priority and qualifications of the n ominee. The powers and duties of the c onservator are unrestricted. The c onservator may exercise all the powers granted in 247 15 - 14 - 425, C.R.S. The conservator must open an account in a federally insured financial institution for the sole benefit of the m inor or p rotected p erson. The account must be opened on behalf of the m inor or p rotected p erson. The account must be opened using the sample title, Name of Conservator ). The conservator must deposit $ and funds received subsequently into the account. The conservator may make internal transfers of funds in order to take advantage of changes in interest rates e xcept for internal transfers, the financial institution must permit no withdrawals from the account, except by separate certified o rder of this c ourt. A n Acknow ledgment of Deposit of Funds to Restricted Account (JDF 867) must be returned to the c ourt within 45 days. No attorney fees may be paid in this case until the a cknowledgment form is signed and returned to the c ourt. The c onservator must notify the c ourt within 30 days if h is or her home address, email a ddress, or phone number changes and any change of address for the M inor . 2. Within 30 days of appointment, the c onservator must provide a copy of this o rder, if 12 years or older, and persons given notice of the p etition and must advise those persons using Notice of Appointment of Guardian and/or Conservator ( JDF 812 ) that they have the right to request termination or modification of the c onservatorship. 3.
