PLANNING DIVISION PUBLICATION LIST
April 2006
The Miami-Dade Department of Planning and Zoning is the county agency responsible for planning and
growth management in Miami-Dade County, Florida. It gathers and analyzes data about land use,
population, employment, and urban development patterns within the county. The following is the list of
publications and maps currently available for sale. These documents may be reviewed or purchased
during normal business hours (8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday). For further information,

METROPOLITAN PLANNING PUBLICATIONS

The CDMP is the officially approved plan for the future development of Miami-Dade County. The last major
update was in 1997 and later amended in 1999. The plan is presented in a written report and a future land use
map. The map was printed in 1998 and needs a set of amended supplements to bring it up to date. It is a twosided map and you will need two copies if you plan to use it to display the entire County. For text updates on
individual CDMP Amendment Cycles or for further inquiries concerning Master Plan publications call Frank
McCune at (305) 375-2835. Please add $3.00 for Shipping and Handling, when order by mail, for each one
