Unless otherwise specifically requested by any party hereto, the taking of oral evidence in writing by the General Magistrate or some other person in his presence shall be waived. If such a specific prior request be made, it shall be the obligation of the requesting party, at its own cost, to provide for the timely attendance of an official reporter at all proceedings. In the above styled matter, unless otherwise specifically requested by any party, the filing of the transcript of all proceedings held before the General Magistrate shall be waived. If such a request be made for the filing of the transcript, then the requesting party shall bear the cost of transcription and shall see that the transcript is filed with the Clerk of the Court in a timely manner; however, the filing of the General Magistrate’s report will not be delayed by the time necessary for preparation and filing of the transcript. Pursuant to Florida Rule of Civil Procedure 1.490, the time for filing exceptions shall be within ten (10) days from the time the General Magistrate’s report is served, and shall not be enlarged by the preparation of any such transcript except by prior order.
