300.49 Measure of Damages to Remainder--Benefit or Detriment From Proposed Use In determining the fair cash market value of the remainder after the taking, you may consider [any] [benefits] [or] [detriments] from the proposed public use, proved by the evidence, which [increase] [or] [decrease] the fair cash market value of the remainder. [However, the law does not permit an award of damages for the loss or reduction of traffic which may result from [the installation of a median or divider strip] [the establishment of a one-way traffic regulation], and you should not consider this factor in determining damages to the remainder.]
