Order Setting Matter for Agreed Binding Arbitration
The parties having agreed to submit this matter to binding arbitration pursuant to 750 ILCS 5/508(c)(4), it is hereby
ordered that:
This matter is referred to the Chicago Bar Association Matrimonial Fee Arbitration Project;
The parties have received from this Court a copy of the Chicago Bar Association Matrimonial Fee Arbitration Project
Rules of Procedure;
Within seven (7) days of this Order, the parties shall (1) execute the Chicago Bar Association Matrimonial Fee
Arbitration Agreement, and (2) send a copy of the executed agreement, this Order, and a statement of three dates and times
which both parties are available for the arbitration and which dates shall be between the date of the next status hearing
(listed below) and 21 days after the date of the next status hearing, to the Chicago Bar Association; Matrimonial Fee
Arbitration Project; Arbitration Project Coordinator; 321 S. Plymouth Court; Chicago, Illinois 60604;
Discovery shall be on an expedited basis. The parties shall complete all discovery within 30 days from the date of
the entry of this Order. Each party shall submit to the Chicago Bar Association, at the above address, the amount of
$125.00, by check or money order, at least seven (7) days before the date of the next status hearing before this Court;
If either party desires a subpoena for witnesses or records to be used at the arbitration, that party shall handle the
issuance of such subpoena himself or herself.
(4406) The next status before this Court is set for _______________________________________, at which time the
parties shall testify as to the status of their compliance with this Order, and an Arbitration schedule shall be set.
