NOTICE OF AWARD (NOA)
NOTICE is hereby given to all parties of record:
On
, an Arbitration Award was filed in the Circuit Court of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit,
Kane County, a copy of which is attached hereto.
Any party who was present at the Arbitration Hearing, either in person or by counsel, may reject the Arbitration
Award by strictly complying with the following provisions of Illinois Supreme Court Rule 93. Within 30 days
after the filing of an Arbitration Award, a party who rejects the Arbitration Award must:
1. File a Notice of Rejection with the Clerk of the Circuit Court, together with a certificate of service that the
Notice of Rejection has been served on all other parties to the action.
2. Send a Copy of the Notice of Rejection to all other parties to the action.
3. Pay a $200.00 Rejection fee to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for award amounts of $30,000 or less or
$500.00 Rejection fee if the award amount is greater than $30,000.00.
YOUR RIGHT TO REJECT THE ARBITRATION AWARD AND PROCEED TO TRIAL EXPIRES 30
DAYS AFTER FILING OF THE ARBITRATION AWARD.
IF NO PARTY FILES A TIMELY NOTICE OF REJECTION OF AWARD, ANY PARTY MAY MOVE THE
COURT TO ENTER JUDGMENT ON THE AWARD
A copy of this Notice has been sent by regular mail, postage pre-paid at Geneva, Illinois, addressed to each of
the parties appearing herein, at their last known address or to their attorney of record.
