The Court having addressed the minor in open court hereby finds:
That the minor was advised and understands that the State has the burden of proving him/her guilty beyond a
reasonable doubt; that he/she is presumed innocent until proven guilty, the nature of the charge(s) and the possible
punishment that might be imposed by the Court, and the right:
A) To plead Not Guilty;
B) To a bench trial not a jury except with the exception of Extended Jurisdiction Juvenile cases;
C) To remain silent;
D) To hear witness('s) testify against you;
E) To put on own defense which can include: testify on your own behalf, present evidence, call witness('s) with the use of a subpoena
F) To an attorney. If you can not afford counsel the court may appoint someone to represent you.
G) To pursue an appeal within 30 days, and if indigent, to a transcript of all proceedings in his/her case without
charge to assist in the appeal process.
