Company Act (MCL 450.4104), and the Michigan revised Uniform Limited Partnership Act (MCL 449.1206) provide the administrator may
accept documents by fax and shall accept documents by electronic mail and issue certified copies and certificates by fax. Further, the act
provides that a certificate “sent by facsimile transmission, shall be considered an original for all purposes and is admissible in evidence in
like manner as an original”.

filers can send their document with their application.
•
The document will be processed electronically and stored in a paperless system. If the
document is illegible or requires modification or adjustment, the customer submits a
replacement document.
