Pro tempore judges are entitled to recover the costs, not to exceed $250, that the pro
tempore judge reasonably incurs in presiding over an action within the short trial program.
To recover such costs, the presiding judge must submit to the parties an itemized bill of
costs within 10 days of the verdict or judgment in a bench trial.
