CERTIFICATION OF EXIGENT CIRCUMSTANCES
Pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 109(h)(3)(A), the debtors request a 30-day exemption from the
requirement that credit counseling be obtained prior to the date of the filing of the petition. In
support of this request, the debtors certify as follows:
1. A description of the exigent circumstances that merit a waiver of the requirement that
credit counseling be obtained prior to the date of the filing of the petition is as follows:
2. Prior to the filing of the petition in this case, debtors requested credit counseling
services from an approved nonprofit budget and credit counseling agency, but were unable to
obtain the requested credit counseling services during the 5-day period beginning on the date on
which the debtors made the request.
3. Debtors understand that if they receive a waiver pursuant to § 109(h)(3)(A), they are
required to obtain credit counseling from an approved nonprofit budget and credit counseling
agency within 30 days after the date on which their petition was filed.
