NOTICE REGARDING TERMINOLOGY
These papers refer to “Parenting Plans”, “Parenting time”, “visitation” and “visitation schedules”. Time scheduled for non-custodial
parents to spend with their children has traditionally been referred to as “visitation”. The 1997 Legislature enacted laws changing
that term to “Parenting Time” and the “visitation schedules” to “Parenting Plans”.
