NOTICE OF STATUS CONFERENCE –
DEPENDENCY
PLEASE TAKE NOTE that a status conference will be held in the above action by
telephone conference on the
day of
p.m.. The
, at
plaintiff will be required to place the conference call and insure that all parties having
appeared will be included. Plaintiff must further contact all parties in advance of this status
conference so that all counsel can discuss the following matters:
(a)
Service of process not yet served;
(b)
Jurisdiction and venue;
(c)
Anticipated motions;
(d)
Anticipated or remaining discovery, including limitation on discovery;
(e)
Setting of dates for discovery cutoff, motions cutoff, filing of briefs and jury
instructions, pretrial and trial;
(f)
Anticipated trial time required. The parties must give their best estimate and the
allotted trial time will be based on this estimate;
(g)
Prospects for settlement or the need of a settlement conference;
(h)
Any other matters conducive to the jury, efficient and economical determination
of the case including the definition or limitation of issues.
Each party shall be represented at the status conference by counsel prepared to address all
of the above matters.
