Conversion (when an entity changes/transforms from one type of entity into a different type of entity) means a transaction authorized by AS 10.55.401-10.55.406, with the exception of the entities excluded under AS 10.55.110. Under this: Any domestic (Alaskan) entity may convert to a foreign (non-Alaskan) business corporation if the conversion is authorized by the law of the foreign jurisdiction.
